Northside Hitmen: The Hitmen
won first place handily no small thanks to an amazing 339 homeruns
by the team (5 players, Bonds, Delgado, ARod, Ramirez and Lopez were
in the top ten). They also have the arms of ERA leader Pedro
Martinez (2.03) and John Smoltz, league leader in saves with 37. |
Twin City Thunderchickens:
The T-Chix comfortably took second place in 2004. That would
not have been possible without OF-1B Albert Pujols who led the
league in hitting (.349) and rbis (145) as well as hitting 47
homeruns. The T-Chix who led the league in ERA with 4.22, have
a solid starting staff led by Kevin Brown (14-9, 3.03 ERA). |
Moline Upperdeckers: The
Upperdeckers made the playoffs for the third straight year.
They'll be led by big boppers Todd Helton (.317, 117 rbi) and Andruw
Jones (46 hr, 117 rbi). They have a consistent staff of
Pettitte, Trachsel and Zito on the mound. |
Chicago Highlanders:
Rob Moore's squad beat out all others for 4th place thanks in part
to a superb bullpen (3 relievers under 3.00 ERA). The
Highlander boast the only 20 game winner in Tim Hudson (20-12).
Vernon Wells cranked 32 homers with 129 rbi (2nd in league). |
