Photos from the 2004 IAL All-Star Weekend

I told Don I didn't have a good recent photo of him.  I think it's telling that instead of picking up the dice cup he picked up the beer bottle.

Dave Coughlin was a great sport to help us out by filling in for Tedd.  He also wins the award for coming the furthest distance (Cedar Rapids, which is somewhere near Montana).  Thanks a bunch, Dave!

Here is Chuck daydreaming about when he'll win his 5th straight World Series.

At my encouragement, Nicky brought back the K's for Kerry Wood.  In his game against me, Nick had to make 12 of them plus two special HR ones.  I still won the game ;-)

Throughout the weekend, mascots Beano and Chuck the Chicken were seen getting friendly.

Here's Beano weaving his magic on John's dice.

Me playing the Champions.  We beat Dave 5-1.  I told Dave to take heart since Tedd and his Champions have become our personal whipping boys this year.  We are 15-3 against them this season and probably wouldn't be in playoff contention without them.

Friday night, Barry Bonds hit his 600th homerun!  It was a game winner against the Rocket-Fire.

Mascot Chuck the Chicken took his place on the field at the All-Star Game

East Mananger Nick Ventresca almost looks like he knows what he's doing here.

See the look of disgust on Todd's face as his brother calls for a bunt with A-Rod up to bat.

Looks like Marc is thinking about something here...

...uh oh!  Maybe it wasn't thinking that Marc was doing.

Note to self:  Remind John NOT to serve Mexican at the mini-convention.

Winning an All-Star Game takes a lot out of you..
